José and Lisa met on the mission field and were married in 2006 in Lima, Peru. After serving in various support roles for 15 years in Peru, Wycliffe asked the Chambillas to move to Dallas, Texas.  In doing so, José has been filling a crucial role in Computer Technical Support, connecting with other computer staff, and working with the many staff that pass through the Americas office. Lisa works part-time at the front desk in the Wycliffe Clinic. Together they support the work of translation, helping many indigenous people hear the gospel in their own language.  The Chambillas have three children – Laura, Samuel, and Ruthie.
